About Communities of Excellence

Communities of Excellence – Living the 8 Keys is a program of Learning Forum International (LFI), a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational corporation based in Oceanside, California.

LFI secures funding from individuals, foundations and corporations to implement the Communities of Excellence program in schools and to offer individual student scholarships to SuperCamp® learning and life skills summer enrichment programs.

Through Learning Forum International, educators, parents, alumni and other supporters of youth development come together to make a difference for students, empowering them with greater self esteem, highly effective academic and learning skills, and a desire to achieve.

LFI Offers CoE Program to Individuals
Bobbi DePorter, president of Learning Forum International introduced a CoE program for individuals, which is ideal for homeschool students and students at schools that have not yet adopted CoE. The program provides individuals with a full of year of online access to CoE lessons, activities and content, a set of CoE KeyCards, The 8 Keys of Excellence book, and a CoE poster. The cost is only $75 for a full year. Individuals wishing to take advantage of this program are asked to complete an Individual CoE Program Agreement.

About the 8 Keys of Excellence
The 8 Keys of Excellence were developed over 25 years ago by Bobbi DePorter to help provide students attending her learning and life skills summer enrichment program, SuperCamp, with positive character traits. The Keys were eight principles Bobbi identified as common traits shared by a number of successful people whom she studied from many walks of life who maintained personal excellence.
